The racing wheel has an enormous turn radius of 270 degrees, allowing you to easily turn almost full circle and tackle those sharp corners as smoothly as possible.
The wheel comes with steel parts and sturdy clamps that allow you to easily attach it to your table or wheel stand so you don’t have to worry about your wheel coming off in the middle of a race.
The wheel is completely adjustable, and you can change settings like the turn radius, pedal sensitivity, and more on the fly by making a few simple adjustments.
Obviously, pedals are also included – the HORI racing wheel is a fully-fledged product that will give you your money’s worth. Once you have the racing wheel, you won’t want to use your controller to play a racing game ever again.

The Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 is another add-on that is one of the best Xbox One steering wheels in the market. Thrustmaster markets it as a collector’s item – an actual Ferrari racing wheel replica. If you’ve ever wanted to feel like an F1 racer, here’s your chance!
If you have any doubts about the realism of the wheel, keep in mind that it is officially licensed by Ferrari.
The racing wheel is robust and durable. It is made of reinforced brushed metal – an item much heavier than plastic, increasing the wheel’s stability and giving it enough heft to feel realistic. The wheel is covered with textured rubber, giving you a better grip and allowing you to race comfortably for extended periods of time.
It’s also precise and will allow you to easily control your car without hurting your hands or worrying about imprecision.
The wheel is compatible with the PS3, PS4, PC, and Xbox One, although it won’t work with all of them in the same mode. The standard mode is compatible with PlayStation and PC and gives you access to 13 buttons and 17 programmable functions, while the more advanced PC mode works only with PC and allows you to fine-tune your car much more.
Thrustmaster offers a wheelbase (that you'll have to buy separately) that the Ferrari F1 wheel can be attached to for a more wholesome racing experience.

Another Thrustmaster product, this Ferrari wheel add-on is as good as, if not better than, the previous one. It’s a simpler product and doesn’t have as many bells and whistles, but that doesn’t make it any less usable or practical.
This replica wheel is licensed by Ferrari and will easily install on any current wheelbase you use. This is a high-quality replica wheel, and it’s almost entirely made of metal. It is slightly smaller than Thrustmaster’s stock wheel, but whether you can live with that or not is a matter of personal preference.
You get two sequential paddles shifters attached to the wheel. These 5cm tall paddle shifters will move with the wheel and will greatly enhance the racing experience.
The controls include a multi-directional D-pad, 6 easily identifiable action buttons, and a 3 position Manettino dial which has a push function in the center. It’s not as complex as the Thrustmaster Ferrari F1 add-on, but it’s perfect for anyone who’s looking for a more minimalist gaming steering wheel or isn’t very interested in F1 games.
This replica wheel is much better, heavier, and more pleasing to use than the original TX wheel. Its heft and high quality make it a strong contender for the title of the best racing steering wheel.
This add-on is compatible with PS3, PC, and Xbox One.

Logitech has tendrils reaching into almost every aspect of the gaming industry and the computing industry in general. From gaming mice to keyboards, Logitech’s products are always incredible to use.
The Driving Force G920 gives you realistic steering and pedal action to allow you even more immersion when racing using your gaming console.
It’s built to last for as long as possible. With durable solid steel ball bearings, a hand-stitched leather wheel grip, and stainless-steel pedals, the G920 will give you years of dependable service.
You'll be pleased to find out that Logitech has incorporated dual-motor force feedback into the wheel, allowing you to experience as realistic a gaming experience as possible. With this wheel, you'll be feeling every hit in the game as if you were the one driving the car.
Logitech has also included a floor pedal unit for use with the racing wheel. This pedal unit allows you to accelerate, brake, or change gears like you’re driving an actual car. The pedals are built to mimic the performance of a pressure-sensitive system and aren’t non-linear – meaning you’ll feel just like you’re depressing the pedals of an ordinary car.
If you’re a hardcore racing fan, you can cough up a bit more and get yourself a shifter to allow you to fully experience the most realistic racing experience you can.
The easy-access game controls will give you all the precision you'll need to take your racing skills to the next level. The G920 incorporates the console buttons and D-pad into the wheel, allowing you to access them as easily as possible whenever you need them.
A steering wheel stripe allows you to ensure that your wheel is correctly oriented – a useful feature to have during high-octane racing games where you’ve been turning so fast and hard that it’s easy to forget exactly where you’re oriented.
The racing wheel has a 900-degree turn radius, allowing you to turn it around two and a half times, as much as a typical car steering wheel.
The G920 comes in several variants for different gaming consoles. This one, in particular, can only be used with a PC or an Xbox One.

- Dual-motor force feedback for a more realistic experience
- Included floor pedal unit
- Optional shifter available

The third Thrustmaster product on our list, the TMX speaks more the proficiency of Thrustmaster’s products than anything else. The TMX is a fully-fledged racing wheel system containing a wheel and pedal unit – it’s not just a replica wheel.
The TMX’s design is highly realistic and ergonomic, allowing you to enjoy the realism of the wheel without worrying about the comfort of your hands and fingers.
The TMX’s software is Xbox One certified and is fully compatible with the gaming console. From console menus to games supporting steering wheels, you'll be able to use the wheel with every part of the system.
The pedal set is optimized for the best racing experience. The pedals have a wide footrest and can be adjusted for different angles of inclination. The brake pedal also mimics actual car brakes with non-linear progression to give you the most realistic experience possible.
The steering wheel can rotate up to 900 degrees, allowing you to turn the wheel 2.5 times before it locks out. Its grips are coated with rubber to allow you to grip comfortably, and gear shifting can be done using the two sequential paddle shifts mounted on the wheel.
The on-wheel controls also make it very easy for you to control your gaming consoles, especially due to the special built-in buttons for the Xbox One: View, Menu, and Xbox Guide buttons.
The TMX is a force feedback racing wheel, meaning you'll feel yourself racing. Since you can feel the track under the tires and intuit when you’re over or under-drifting, you’ll become a much more precise driver.
The TMX is compatible with both PC and Xbox One.

If you’re not a hardcore racer and don’t know exactly what you want from your Xbox One steering wheel, deciding on the best gaming racing wheel is going to be a daunting and uphill task.
However, we’re going to help you on your journey by bringing to light some things you may want to consider for your very own Xbox One gaming wheel.
Unfortunately, racing wheels are one of those things where you get what you pay for. Of course, you could go out and get a racing wheel worth $50, but it’s not going to last for long.
Since racing wheels typically get hours and hours of use, you don’t want to be stuck with a wheel that’s going to crack once you’ve finished a few laps.
Look for hefty, metallic wheels that are durable and will take some amount of punishment during racing. You may not always have time to be very gentle in the heat of the moment, so you'll need a wheel that can take some rough handling.
The quality also extends to the clamping mechanism – a durable wheel isn’t going to do you much good if your entire contraption falls off the ledge you’ve clamped it to as soon as you exert even the slightest pressure.
A pedal unit gives you the next level of immersion when you’re racing. Pedal units usually come with the three standard pedals: brake, accelerator, and clutch (for gear shifting).
When you’re looking at a pedal unit, find one that offers non-linear progression. It may be slightly more expensive, but it’s worth it for how close it mimics an actual car system.
Think about it: do you want a car to stop completely when you exert pressure on the brake or do you want one that slows down gradually, similar to a real car’s braking system?
Force feedback is another underrated feature that is much more helpful than it initially seems. Why would you want your wheel to vibrate in certain situations?
Force feedback allows you to feel the terrain you’re driving over. It also helps you notice and correct over or under-drifting, significantly increasing your racing skills.
Force feedback isn’t a very costly feature, and in my opinion, makes a great difference in your racing.
Turn radius refers to the angle at which you can turn the steering wheel. Cheaper steering wheels will have a 270 or 360-degree turn radius, allowing you to turn the wheel full circle.
More expensive wheels usually have a 900-degree turn radius, letting you turn your wheel two and a half times – just like you’re driving a real car.
If realism is something that matters to you, we recommend getting the second option – it will even give you more precise control over your racing.
If you only own an Xbox One, any of the wheels on our list should be good for you (and you should check out our free Xbox ‘Games with Gold’ selections!). Many people, however, also want to use their racing wheels when playing on PC or another gaming console.
If you’re one of those people, ensure you get a racing wheel compatible with whatever devices you plan to be using it with.
On that note, some Xbox compatible racing wheels come with special programmable buttons and sometimes even menu or context buttons. The programmable buttons allow you to map certain functions to specific buttons, enabling you to quickly and easily carry out the actions you use most often.
We’ve presented you with some of the best Xbox One steering wheels you can find, and we hope you’ll find one that is perfect for you.
However, keep in mind that it’s not always possible to get every feature you want, so you may be forced to make some compromises and buy the racing wheel that is closest to perfect for you, even if it doesn’t have everything you want.
And if you can’t make up your mind, create a list of the features you’d love to have, then look at each wheel and see how well it satisfies your requirements. That’ll make it much easier for you to decide.
